Each hank is 15 meters, slightly more than 16 yards, of hand plaited/braided Batwing plait made in China. Of the 2 Batwing plaits we offer, this hank is the WIDER of the 2 sizes at 20-23mm (0.79-0.9″) wide. The more Narrow Batwing plait is here should you want both .
One hank will make a small brim lady’s hat, or decorate a brim edge. For Wheat Weavers this plait is great for adding detail to your figurative work, especially angel wings. Basketmakers can use this plait to stitch into a basket or to weave between basket stakes for an striking effect.
Damp before use by wrapping in a damp towel. Do not soak.
